NEW SENSATIONS/DIGITAL SIN RECEIVES AN ASTONISHING 26 XBIZ AWARDS NOMINATIONS, 16 FOR PARODIES

Adult powerhouse New Sensations / Digital Sin announced today it has received 26 total nominations in 15 different categories from XBIZ for the 8th annual XBIZ Awards; an astonishing 16 of those solely for their porn parodies – a number that tops all of the parody producing competition on record this year.

Their blockbuster parody release, “The Sex Files – A Dark XXX Parody,” set an individual record with 4 nominations, including Feature Movie of the Year. Masterfully directed by Sam Hain, (nominated for Director of the Year for his work on this project), “The Sex Files” was shot earlier in the year, making its debut on both DVD and Blu-ray in the fall. In addition to Feature Movie of the Year, the movie’s leads (Kimberly Kane and Anthony Rosano) both received nominations for Acting Performance of the Year for their roles as Dana Scully and Fox Mulder.
In New Sensations comedic parodies, Lee Roy Myers’ “30 Rock – A XXX Parody“ received a total of 4 nominations as well, including Parody Release of the Year, Director of the Year (Lee Roy Myers), Marketing Campaign of the Year and Male Acting Performance of the Year for Herschel Savage’s interpretation of Alec Baldwin’s character Jack Donaghy.

It was the highly coveted Parody Release of the Year category, however, that was dominated by the extensive list of nominated New Sensations parodies. Towering above the competition with the most nominations, New Sensations walked away with 6 of the19 total noms in the category for their movies “30 Rock: A XXX Parody,” “70’s Show: A XXX Parody,” “Entourage: A XXX Parody,” “Friends: A XXX Parody,” “Scrubs: A XXX Parody” and “Seinfeld: A XXX Parody.”
"New Sensations/Digital Sin had a great all around year, and its nominations across numerous categories for the XBIZ Awards reflects that,” remarked Steve Javors, Editor-In-Chief, XBIZ Premiere. “Nominations for its parodies, directors, websites stars and more is really a testament to the studio's overall quality across a wide spectrum of adult entertainment. On behalf of XBIZ, I'd like to congratulate the entire New Sensations crew on an excellent year.”

XBIZ received a record 2,365 preliminary nomination submissions from the adult entertainment community this year, with the official nominee list encompassing Web & Tech, Movies & Production and Novelty & Retail awards categories. The winners will be announced at the eighth annual XBIZ Awards held on February 10, 2010 at the world-famous Avalon in Hollywood.
