The Grindhouse Film Festival will pay tribute to late, legendary Golden Age performer Marilyn Chambers on June 13 with a midnight screening of The Resurrection of Eve and Behind the Green Door at the New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles.
Friends and peers of Chambers will speak before the screenings and an additional 35mm reel of Chambers footage will also be shown. The tribute coincides with the 13th annual Erotica LA expo, taking place June 12-14 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Chambers rose to stardom after her debut role in the Mitchell Brother's 1972 classic Behind the Green Door.
She died at age 56 on Easter Sunday in the mobile home where she had been living for the past several months.
The New Beverly Cinema is located at 7165 Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles.
